ARK Skincare is a great brand I have been introduced to recently. A UK brand, it is a brand which has strong ethics which they are very passionate about. ARK do not partake in animal testing, so they are animal friendly, and they also ensure none of the ingredients or manufactures they use partake in animal testing either. So they are an all round animal friendly brand. ARK base their products around five key points which they like to call their five key motivators.

I am now 56 days in. That means I've passed the half way mark! Hurrah! I can't believe how quickly the past 8 weeks have gone if I'm honest. It doesn't seem like it's been 8 weeks since I went shopping or did a haul. And I haven't lost the plot, either. How has this been so easy?? Lets see what's on this weeks wishlist!

Today I got my newest tattoo. A birthday present from my lovely boyfriend. And it has inspired me to write a much requested post. Almost on a daily basis I get asked on either here or Twitter about my tattoos, whether I will do a post about them, tips, advice, etc. So I thought now was as good'a'time as any.

Purity Skincare are an organic brand which uses sustainable-grown ingredients cleverly combined to encourage skin to work at it's best. The same core ingredients are used throughout the majority of the range and give your skin the simplicity of regime that it needs. A British brand, Purity bring it's customers intelligent, sustainable and organic beauty to everyone. Purity skincare is Eco Certified, with 98% of the ingredients in each product being of natural origin and a massive 82% of these are processed from organic farming.
Vichy is a brand I have never tried before and I was send this Derma Blend Starter Kit in my June Glossybox. When I saw it in the box, I have to admit I was not impressed. Although it doesn't look it in the below photo, all of the shades are fairly dark. Even the lightest shades are probably not suitable for the tones they are named by. I didn't feel there was a shade within the pack which matched my skin tone and I felt this was going to be a wasted sample, and a waste of product. But, I do like to try things even when I am dubious about them. So try I did.

If you read my blog regularly you might have noticed that I have been taking a real interest in natural products. There's just no denying it, I think natural is best. So when I was asked by JĀSÖN, a natural and free from unnecessary chemicals brand, whether I would like to try some of their products, I of course said yes!
One thing I love about beauty subscription boxes, is receiving full sizes products, particularly make up. I received this Miners bronzer and blusher blend in my July She Said Beauty box and having used it a few times now, I thought it was about time I reviewed it!

On Friday I went to the long awaited event at Lush in Nottingham, for the launch of Emotional Brilliance - A new make up range which will hit stores nationwide today, Saturday 21st of July. I have come away from the event with mixed views...
Bioderma has been a much talked about - and raved about - product on the beauty blogging scene for a long time now. At first, I didn't see the appeal. A cleansing and purifying lotion that people claimed was the miracle worker make up remover. But to me, all I could see was a pretty bottle worth over £10 which was impossible to get hold of in the UK as it is a French skincare brand and only available on eBay. So of course, this meant I had to buy it and try it out for myself, just to see what all this blogging fuss was about....

Balance Me is a brand I am sure everyone has heard of, if not because they are a generally lovely natural brand, then definitely due to the magazine offer where you could get your hands on a Balance Me product! Balance Me are passionate about natural skincare, their products are luxurious yet affordable and are effective, natural products you can use everyday to benefit your skin. Balance Me is a lovingly created UK brand, which promises to be a natural brand that doesn't use parabens, sulphates, petroleum, mineral oils, silicone's, dea, pegs, propylene glycol, artificial fragrances or artificial colours.
And so we reach the end of week 7 and update 6 of The 100 Day Challenge! This week hasn't been too bad. There's nothing much that has massively grabbed my eye, but I have been lusting after the Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains even more now that everyone and their dog seems to be talking about them and reviewing them! This week was also my birthday week. On Tuesday I turned 24 (super scary!) and so I have had that to occupy me. I will be doing a little birthday post over the weekend, so if you are interested keep an eye out for that!

Jill Mansell has been my favourite female author for many years now. The first of her books that I came across was 'An Offer You Can't Refuse'. I had never read a book by her before nor did I have any idea who she was. I bought the book, went home and started to read it. And I didn't stop. I stayed up until the early hours of the morning reading it cover to cover. And ever since then, for the past five years, she has been my favourite female author.

Over the past few month's I have been making a real concious effort to look into more natural, organic, animal and planet friendly brands, especially where skincare is concerned. If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that skincare is incredibly important to me. I truly believe that looking after your skin at an early age is one of the most important things you can do. Prevention is key, and I would rather look after my skin now, than pay for it later down the line when imperfections are harder to mask with make up. The more you look after your skin, the better condition it will be in, looking and feeling better. Then when you do choose to wear make up (which I am sure for anyone obsessed with make up like I am, is most days) your make up will look better, too. Our faces are the first thing people notice about us, they display our personalities, emotions and life experience. I want to take care of mine.
Last month I was very lucky and won a giveaway hosted by Charlotte who runs Carlotta's Beauty Spot to win a Benefit Sunbeam, the new liquid highlighter from Benefit. Since Benefit launched this product, I was super excited and really wanted to try it out for myself. I already have Benefit High Beam but it can be a little too pinky toned on my naturally tanned skin. So to hear they had launched a highlighter which was more bronzed based really excited me. So as you can imagine, I was super chuffed to win Charlotte's giveaway and get my hands on this little beauty!

In my June She Said Beauty box (read review here) we received a bonus sample which was a sample sachet of the Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB cream. This BB cream is advertised as being for all skin typs, provides moisture and nourishment, is brightening, evens skin tone and has protection against harmful UV rays with an SPF of 30/PA++.

It has now been six weeks/42 days since I started The 100 Day Challenge. I'm nearly half way there!! This week there have been a few things that have tempted me, that I almost caved in to, like the much talked about eBay lashes for 99p, and the Illlamasqua sale. But, I resisted. There are six items on my wish list this week...

Looking after my skin is incredibly important to me, especially my face. I am a firm believer that it is better to do what you can now to keep your skin in the best condition, than pay for it years down the line. I like to exfoliate a couple of times a week, to ensure any clogged pores are de-clogged and refined, to really give my skin a good clean and when I can do that as well as moisturising and brightening my complexion? Well that leaves me a very happy Tealady!

For a while now I have been wanting to do a 'my current skincare routine' post. But my skincare regime is currently going through a complete change, so the products I was using religiously, are changing. So instead, I have decided to do a serious of posts called 'The Skincare Series' which will be a serious of posts over the course of me changing products and experimenting. The first post of course though, has to be my 'current' (current up until a week ago) skincare routine.

Hi everyone! I have never written a guest post before, but when the lovely Sophia suggested this opportunity to me, I quite liked the idea :) My name is Sandra and I write The Black Pearl Blog. I am a self confessed skincare junkie, makeup lover and a sucker for jewellery and that's the type of things I write about. I also make jewellery and have my own little ETSY store.
I love photography and that explains the amount of pictures on my blog. My guest post today will be about being a blogging mummy, the way I feel about blogging, why I started a blog and about all my dilemmas related to it. I am not an expert and I am not experienced, I have been blogging for 6 months and I just want to share my thoughts.

Samples. I have bloody tons of them. Body lotions, firming lotions, body washes. Skincare samples galore. I have samples coming out of my blooming stretched ears! The only good thing about the amount of samples I have, is that it means I can make good use out of beauty subscription boxes that were empty with nothing to do. So the (dreadful) June Glossybox is being used to store body samples, whereas the July She Said Beauty box is being used to store skincare products.

I don't think it is actually possible for me to express how much I adore Lush fresh face masks. I have only been introduced to them over the past four months and I have tried and tested three, which are now my favourite masks, ever! So I thought I should do some full reviews for you all! You can read my first review of a Lush fresh face mask, brazened honey, here!

Every one loves a tan, right? A natural glow to make us look and feel more confident. Well, I am a little lucky. My family originate from Cyprus and I have inherited a natural tan. But that doesn't mean I don't crave a glowing tan too! When every one else starts to get that little bit tanned, I start to feel white as a ghost! I try and get in the sun to tan as and when I can, but with the weather we've had in Britain this summer, no natural tan can be found!

And so we reach update four/end of week five of my 100 Day Challenge. I can't believe I have not been in a shop for five weeks. I've not shopped, I've not browsed, I've not spent a penny. For five whole week's. That's crazy! I am also finding the further I get into the challenge, espicially this week, the less I am wanting. So this week's wish list is in fact incredibly small!
Dead Sea Spa Magik use a blend of mud, salt and mineral extracts from the depths of the Dead Sea to deeply hydrate, repair and soothe your body and mind. Their products use certified organic ingredients, contain no parabens (preservatives which have been linked with negative media reports), have an allergen-free fragrance (allergens can potentially cause allergic reactions!), have a harmonised water base (unique due to the de-ionising process used to remove all impurities), are skin friendly (suitable for those even with the most sensitive of skin types) and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

I have had this for a while now, but I finally finished it and realised I liked it that much that I wanted to review it for you all. The Body Shop is famous for it's body butters and I actually received this 50ml sized one (which they also sell in store) with a magazine quite a while ago now.
Hello everyone. I have actually been debating writing this post, as I do not know how exactly it will be received. But I am finding it more difficult to keep my thoughts and opinions to myself, than to be open with you all about something which does, technically, involve us all.

I'm very excited to write my second empties post this month! I am still really enjoying using products up and I find it somewhat satisfying when I finish a product I've been trying to finish. I'm finding with my 100 Day Challenge (read the latest update here) that I am more happy to use products up than I was before. I have always been the sort to buy product upon product, even if I already have something similar or a few stocked up waiting to be used. Now that I can't spend any money and do this, I find I am happy to use up products which have been waiting to be loved. And I actually find myself searching through every thing I have because I want to use things I already own. So this is what I used up in June!

By now many of you have probably read about the infamous eBay blush palette. A palette which boasts ten different blush shades, in various pink and coral shades. The great thing about this palette? It costs 99p! The risk? It comes from China and takes nearly three weeks to land on your doorstep! But as you've probably guessed, I took the gamble!

And so another month is over, which means I can do my favourite post - My June favourites. I love reading people's favourite posts, or watching favourites videos, (not just because I'm nosey - promise!) because it's a great way to be introduced to some fab new products! This month there are 9 products I want to share with you for my June favourites!
